Preparatory excercises

Before we started with our dataset and visualizations we did some presentations about color and famous personalities who did important work in this sector. Later we talked about some map projections and diagram types before we even selected our own dataset. This was because we needed some training with color, gradients and color scales. We even did some by ourselves to train this a bit. Here are some of my gradients:
